👋 Hello little learners!
Welcome back to our Mandarin adventure. Today, we are continuing our counting journey. We already learned numbers 1 to 5—and now, it’s time for 6 to 10. Are you ready? Let’s go! 🎉
1. Numbers 6 to 10 in Mandarin
Here are the numbers. Say them with me slowly:
👉 Try clapping your hands each time you say a number. This helps with rhythm and memory!
2. Short Phrases to Practice
Now let’s try using the numbers in simple sentences:
我有六个苹果 (wǒ yǒu liù gè píng guǒ) – I have six apples.
七个朋友 (qī gè péng you) – Seven friends.
我看到八只小鸟 (wǒ kàn dào bā zhī xiǎo niǎo) – I see eight little birds.
九条鱼 (jiǔ tiáo yú) – Nine fish.
十个气球 (shí gè qì qiú) – Ten balloons. 🎈
3. Fun Activity – Count and Color 🎨
Draw ten balloons on a piece of paper.
Color six balloons red, seven balloons blue, eight balloons yellow, nine balloons green, and ten balloons purple.
As you color, say the Mandarin number out loud!
This way, kids learn through both visuals and actions.
4. Rhyme for Kids 🎶
Here’s a fun chant to help remember numbers 6 to 10:
“六,七,八,
数一数,哈哈哈!
九和十,
朋友多又好开心!”
Repeat with clapping or stomping to make it lively!
