3. Activity Idea
- Season Sorting Game:
Print pictures of different seasons. Let kids match items like “snow” or “sunflower” to the correct season in Mandarin.
Example: “雪 – 冬天” (xuě – dōng tiān). - Nature Walk Bingo:
During a walk, kids can spot items like clouds, trees, or birds.
Each time they find one, they say its name in Mandarin — e.g., “太阳 tài yáng!” - Weather Chart Craft:
Make a weekly chart with drawings for sunny, rainy, cloudy, and windy days.
Label each in Mandarin and update daily.
4. Learning Tip
Encourage your child to observe the sky and nature daily. Ask questions like “What do you see?” or “What color is the cloud?” — then say it together in Mandarin.
Review
Recognize and name more elements in nature (mountains, rivers, sun, moon, etc.). Learn how to describe the weather and seasons in simple Mandarin. Appreciate the natural environment around us.
